San Antonio, a charming and fascinating city, the first time I have known the name from NBA, San Antonio, Spurs.
A lot of antique buildings and the famous River Walk which are always attracted the tourists from all around the world to visit.
Last weekend, we eleven people drove around five and half hours to there from Arlington.
That was a long way to go, but when we saw the classic and gorgeous city, we felt that was worth.
We took the leisure and carefree stroll in the beautiful downtown streets, sightseeing the Market Square, which was filled of Mexican style goods.
We felt like we were in the Mexico.
Then we were being the Alamo, which is an ancient history spot.
All of us don’t know about the origin of the Spanish style building.
At twilight, we were being River Walk and took the river cruise, which was so interesting with a young guy introducing the River Walk and San Antonio humorously.
There were so many people visiting River Walk.
We couldn’t help doubting that all the people in Texas were here.
We walked in the banks of river to look for something to eat, but every restaurant was full, or hosts told us that we should wait around an hour.
We were so starving and looked for some available seats form one to another restaurant.
We couldn’t find available seats until nine o’clock at night.
All of us couldn’t wait to devour all the food that we order.
That would be a wonderful day if we didn’t look for food for that long time.
The second day, we woke up early and went to Fort Sam Huston.
However, we were too early to visit the beautiful building surrounded by high walls, so we only visited the museum, which gave us information about the wars of America.
Then we went to San Marcos, which was an important spot that all the girls could not miss.
Some girls of us were like crazy about the cheap clothes and stuffs, and I was so surprised about the low-price books.
I got a good dictionary with illustrations and colored printing, which just cost me eight bucks.
That was an excellent trip to San Antonio and I promised myself that I will be there again if I get a chance.
